Description

I am offering our high-quality branded online shop for sale, which specializes in handmade cat caves made from sheep’s wool.

Our range includes cat caves in 11 different colors, all lovingly handcrafted in Nepal and imported by us into Germany. The cat caves are available in two attractive shapes: “Round” and “Round with Tip”. Each cave is delivered to the customer with a small wool mouse, perfect for the cat to play with. These wool mice can also be purchased separately in the online shop in a 4-pack.

Due to my new executive position in a corporation, from the end of 2022 I had increasingly less time to actively run the online shop. Therefore, I decided to stop sales in September 2023 to focus fully on my role as an executive. Additionally, in autumn 2023, the fulfillment center handling my cat caves ceased operations, and at the same time, I was renovating a condominium. I had also been running KDP for years, where Amazon handles all customer contact. For the cat shop, all customer inquiries went through me, which can be overwhelming in the evenings when working 40–45 hours a week. Considering all the above, I had to decide what to continue with — and it became clear that the corporate position was the right path.

I invested a lot of time, money, and effort into the shop, which more than a year ago was estimated to be worth €50,000 to €100,000.

Revenue from March 2022 to September 2023 amounts to €43,405.

The current asking price for the Shopify online shop, including inventory, is €7,000.
The inventory alone has a value of approx. €16,000 based on production and import costs.
Additionally, expect around €700–€1,000 for pickup/transport costs to move the pallets of cat caves to your own warehouse.
Thus, total costs including purchase and transport are <= €8,000.
