Founded in May 2006 by Heike Scholz, the online magazine *mobile zeitgeist* remains the leading online publication for mobile business in the German-speaking world. It focuses on reports, opinions, and news in technology, digital lifestyle, mobility, and retail. Since August 2018, the magazine has been managed by the Platingroup, whose team is dedicated to continuing and further developing the format in line with its original values: quality, context, and evaluation.

The magazine–™s readership includes decision-makers from media, retail, finance, and the advertising industry, as well as from the mobile sector in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

We do not consider ourselves a platform for unreflective and uncommented corporate news (press releases). Critical engagement with topics and technologies is as important to us as the independent assessment of trends and forecasts. In addition to the main focus on –œmobile,– other interesting topics from the general –œzeitgeist– context will gradually take center stage, enhancing the range of information we offer our readers.

We have achieved this reach over the past years with quality content, never purchasing followers or employing dubious marketing practices.
