Digital service for pharmacies - internal audit, hazardous substances register, retax templates and counseling simulations

Digitization is advancing in pharmacies, and this project was created to meet that need.

With this solution, pharmacies can complete their annual internal audit digitally. More than 300 questions are organized into 30 sections to streamline the process. Each section includes a relevant image so the audit no longer feels like dull paperwork. Every section also features a notes field for additional information, and the responsible person for a section can be recorded by name. After completing the full internal audit, the pharmacy receives a downloadable certificate confirming successful completion.

The hazardous substances register must be kept up to date. Instead of creating time-consuming in-house lists or managing the task on paper, this solution provides a prepopulated database of over 200 hazardous substances. Mandatory information is already entered; users only need to add manufacturer-specific details. The hazardous substances database is split into two registers: Hazardous Substances Register - Formulation and Hazardous Substances Register - Reagents. The pharmacy simply selects the items it has on site.

Payers do not accept submitted prescriptions without review. Billing centers check submitted prescriptions and issue retaxations when they find errors. To respond to these retaxations more effectively, pharmacies can use the retax templates. Relevant arguments from the main and supplementary texts can be copied and applied to the pharmacy’s own response letters, improving the chance of a successful appeal.

Additional sales are essential for a pharmacy and are becoming increasingly important. Some colleagues are unsure how to steer a consultation toward an add-on sale. The counseling simulations module offers 13 simulated counseling conversations that demonstrate example recommendations for additional products during a customer consultation.
