Portal for skilled trades placement
I’m selling a live web project: a reverse-recruiting platform for skilled trades. The system enables specialists to create anonymous profiles while trade businesses proactively approach suitable candidates (“company applies to the candidate”). Contact only occurs when the specialist actively accepts an application. After acceptance, communication continues via an integrated messaging function (Inbox/Chat).
The platform is live and has already been tested: initial specialists/registrations were generated through paid advertising. The acquisition cost was approximately €4 per registration. Companies have not yet been acquired — the monetization potential is therefore entirely for the buyer.
Concept and value (Why this is attractive for trade businesses)
Trade businesses, especially in photovoltaic installation, heating and sanitary systems, and general installation/service, are struggling to find qualified specialists. Traditional job portals are often costly, slow and inefficient. Many specialists are not actively seeking new roles but remain open to vetted offers when they can evaluate opportunities without risk and without revealing personal information.
This platform addresses that gap. Specialists remain anonymous, maintain control, and decide which companies may contact them. Businesses gain access to structured candidate profiles and can submit an application with a single click. This reduces friction, increases the likelihood of relevant conversations and delivers a modern candidate experience.
Feature set (already implemented; MVP but professionally usable)
The application supports two roles (specialist and company) with role-based dashboards.
On the specialist side there is an anonymous profile that does not publish name, phone number or email. The profile captures structured details on region/radius, desired tasks, qualifications, experience, availability/start date, willingness to travel or perform installations, driver’s license, salary expectation as a range and dealbreakers. Skills can be represented via predefined selection fields as well as custom skill tags so nothing important is omitted. Specialists can also control visibility status (active, open, invisible).
On the company side there is a company profile and job templates (application packages) so an application can be sent with one click. Candidates see all relevant information in advance for each application with a clear required/optional logic; optional content is transparently labeled. There is no back-and-forth query: the specialist accepts or rejects. If rejected a rejection reason is requested (for example salary, region, installation, requirements). If accepted, a chat opens automatically.
Automation and payment processing
The system is built with automation and is prepared for monetization. Payment processing is integrated so subscriptions, payments and access can be handled cleanly on the technical side, including recurring billing.

The pricing model is intentionally simple:
Trade businesses pay €199 per month for access to the platform and the candidate marketplace (monthly cancellable; details and usage limits can be finalized by the buyer according to their strategy).
Current status / traction
The platform is launched and functional. Initial specialists were acquired via advertising; the test customer acquisition cost was about €4 per registration. Company acquisition has not yet started, so there is currently no revenue history. The buyer acquires a finished system with tested candidate acquisition and can roll out the B2B side immediately.
Sale price
Sale price: €2,300
The price is deliberately conservative and reflects the development and work already invested. It is not a valuation based on revenue multiples, because the company/customer side has not yet been acquired.
Next steps to monetize (30–60 day roadmap)
The buyer can generate revenue relatively quickly by:
- Piloting 20 to 50 local or regional companies with the offer: access to profiles open to changing jobs
- Selling a Basic subscription as an entry product (monthly cancellable, low barrier)
- Optimizing company templates and USPs to increase acceptance rates
